Knowledge Bases

Beyond your own documents, LithicBlue's research agent can draw on a curated set of trusted external knowledge bases. They're enabled organization-wide, so the agent can pull in authoritative background, academic, and macroeconomic data while it works, always deferring to your project's own documents as the primary source.

Available knowledge bases

LithicBlue currently offers three knowledge bases:

Wikipedia

Wikipedia

General knowledge, facts, definitions

ArXiv

ArXiv

Academic papers and scientific research

World Bank

World Bank

Economic indicators, GDP, population data

Turning them on or off

Knowledge bases are an organization-wide setting. Owners and admins control which ones the research agent may use under Research controls; each base has its own toggle, and an All enabled switch turns the set on or off at once. When a base is off, the agent simply won't reach for it.

Requesting additional knowledge bases

Need a source we don't list yet: an industry database, a regulator's corpus, or another authoritative dataset? We add knowledge bases based on what advisors ask for.

Ask us to add one

To request an additional knowledge base, contact [email protected] with the source you'd like and how you'd use it, and we'll take it from there.
